I use Airtel wi-fi DSL connection when I’m at home and that also take care of my mobile connectivity as Nokia N-95 is Wi-Fi enabled.
Though problem arises when I go out from home and I need to access internet and that;s but obvious that I would not like to pay 500 to airtel just for surfing few hrs on my mobile.

This is a nice trick to get free Airtel GPRS on your handset without GPRS activated.
Though you need to activate Airtel live which is activated by default but in case if it’s not then call 121 and ask the customer care representative to activate the Airtel live service for you.

Once you have Airtel Live activated on your airtel number then we are good to move ahead.
To get free airtel internet you need to use a web-browser Tea-shark.
Tea shark mobile browser is a cool software which work on Java enabled handset.
Download Tea-shark from there official website or you can point to wap.teashark.com on your handset and can download this software directly on your mobile.

Once installed you can start surfing with Tea shark browser.
In case if it ask for GPRS settings point it to Airtel Live.
This trick is working for almost everyone.
But I will suggest you to cross check your balance after few minutes of surfing.

"doesn't do a lot and is a resource hog"

Pros: free with ATT Yahoo DSL
Cons: picked up a virus anyway it still can't find. a huge resource hog with appx 10 processes running all the time. seems to run scans at most inconvenient times, slowing system to a crawl, and has this little update window that is pesky as hell.
Summary: I'm assuming this is the same program "mcafee security center" offered with ATT DSL. Used to give us Norton which I found to be superior. Immediately upon switch to Mcafee I noticed system slowed down with all these mysterious processes mcafee has in background, but I'm running an older system so that may not be the case for everyone. I guess you get what you pay for! Now adding AVG free and several other malware finders to fix what Mcafee still doesn't recognize (a trojan that keeps reloading- spybot programs find it but can't remove it) Overall not impressed with Mcafee.

An A-list antivirus, Avast Internet Security 5 provides steadfast protection and a robust selection of features. This version is the paid upgrade from the better-known Avast Free, and so includes several features not available elsewhere.
Avast Internet Security protects you with multiple guards. The antivirus, antispyware, and heuristics engines form a security core that also includes multiple real-time shields. The adjustable mail and file system shields join the pre-existing behavior, network, instant messaging, peer-to-peer (P2P), script, and Web shields. The behavioral shield is a common-sense feature, as security software publishers leverage their large user bases to detect threats early and warn others. Other new features include a silent/gaming mode, a testing sandbox, a firewall, antispam measures, and an "intelligent scanner" that only looks at changed files after establishing a baseline. Users should note that Avast Internet Security is the higher-end version of Avast's two paid programs. Avast Professional 5 includes the sandbox and script shield, but not the firewall or antispam features.
The biggest change in Avast 5, though, is the interface. Gone is the music player default look, which was skinnable but confusing, and in its place is a sleek UI that new users should find far more manageable. It's also Aero-friendly, with Explorer-style navigation buttons in case you can't remember where you tweaked a particular setting.
Avast has been reliably effective, and recent independent efficacy tests indicate that it can hold its own against Symantec's Norton and other popular brands. The price of this version is comparable to those, too, albeit slightly cheaper in some cases. If you want the extra protection offered here and value the brand name, Avast Internet Security 5 is worth the cost.

In the 2010 version of its flagship security suite, Symantec continues to build on the unexpected progress it made last year. In addition to maintaining the quick load and scan times, and significantly smaller system footprint, Norton 2010 includes a behavioral detection engine based on both behavior and reputation.
Called Quorum, this new engine doesn't adversely affect Norton's performance--a major concern after years of system-crippling sluggishness. It works in concert with Norton Insight, introduced last year as a whitelist-style guard for ''trusted'' files. By examining your files and how they behave--both locally and when trying to access the Internet--and comparing them with other Norton users, Symantec claims it offers better protection than its competitors. Like its competitors who also have behavioral detection systems, however, Norton allows you to opt out of anonymously submitting your data without sacrificing the protection that Quorum provides. Third-party detection and removal ratings are not available for this new version, but last year's results placed Norton in the upper echelon for efficacy.
The premium services in Norton Internet Security include a firewall, add-on parental controls through OnlineFamily.Norton, Wi-Fi protection for unsecured hot spots, and identity protection including antiphishing tools and browser search result authentication for Internet Explorer and Firefox. Although Norton lacks a searchable knowledge base, e-mail, IM, and phone support are available, as well as the well-trafficked Symantec forums. A single license is good for three computers, making Norton a competitive choice for families with more than one PC. With the trial doubled from 15 days to 30, Norton Internet Security should be a top consideration for any multicomputer family.

Reports have gone international

One of the requests we frequently hear from our international publishers is to view reports in currencies other than U.S. Dollars. That's why we're happy to announce that publishers located in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain can now view AdSense reports in Euros.

If you're located in one of these five countries and make this update, we'll convert your earnings to Euros on a daily basis using the prevailing market rate from the previous day. With earnings converted daily, you'll avoid the risk of currency exchange fluctuations between USD and the Euro. You can still choose to receive payments in either Euros or U.S. Dollars and select from a range of payment methods as well.

To make the switch to local currency reports, you'll need to agree to a new set of Terms and Conditions. Here are the main changes involved:

The party that publishers are contracting with changes from Google Inc. to Google Ireland Limited.
Publishers are responsible for paying any local taxes in their jurisdiction. Google will only issue VAT refunds to publishers with an address in Ireland.
The governing law changes from California law to either English or local law.

You can view the full text of these new Terms and Conditions by logging in to your account and looking for the green prompt, "See your daily earnings reported in Euro amounts!" on your Reports Overview page. Unfortunately, we're not able to interpret the meaning of changes in our legal documents for publishers -- if you have questions or need legal advice on interpreting the new Terms, please don't hesitate to contact an attorney.

Before agreeing to the new Terms, we also recommend that you download and save copies of your past reports in U.S. Dollars for your records. Once you update your account, you'll be able to view current and historical reports only in Euros. However, you'll still be able to view your prior payment history of U.S. Dollar earnings.

Eurreporting and you: your questions answered

Since introducing reports in Euros for publishers located in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain, we've received a number of questions about this launch. For publishers in these regions, we've addressed some of your concerns below.

How will my earnings be converted to Euros?
Once you switch to the new reports, earnings generated from advertisers paying in currencies other than the Euro will be converted. This will happen on a daily basis using the prevailing market rate from the previous day. If you generate earnings from an advertiser paying in Euros, they won't be converted.

When I'm issued a payment, will my earnings be converted again?
If you've switched to Euro reports and are receiving payments in Euros, there will be no additional conversions when your payments are issued. However, if you're receiving payments in U.S. Dollars, your payment will be converted from Euros to U.S. Dollars at the end of the month.

When I switch to Euro reports, will that automatically change the currency of my payments?
No, your selected payment currency and method won't change after you switch to Euro reports -- unless, of course, you want them to change. (You can update them by visiting the 'Payments Details' section under your My Account tab.)

Will there be a delay in receiving my unpaid earnings once I make this change?
No, making this change will not affect the timing of your payments. After you switch to Euro reports, your unpaid earnings in U.S. Dollars will be converted to Euros before the next upcoming payment selection deadline (typically the 15th of each month). For instance, if you make this switch on June 3rd, your unpaid earnings will be converted by June 15th; if you make this switch on June 20th, your unpaid earnings will be converted by July 15th.

How will this change influence VAT and any taxes I have to pay?
While you may receive your payments in your local currency, all payments are being made by Google Ireland, a company incorporated under the laws of Ireland, in accordance with the terms of your agreement with Google. Unless your business is in Ireland, you shouldn't have an obligation to charge Google VAT or treat any of our payments to you as VAT that needs to be paid to any VAT authorities. If your billing address is located in Ireland, you may have an obligation to charge Google Irish VAT. For more specific answers, we suggest you head for your local tax adviser.

I'm not located in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, or Spain. When will you include other countries?
We're working to offer Euro reports to publishers located in additional countries. When we do, we'll be sure to post any updates here on Inside AdSense.

Do I need to update my account if I'm eligible?
Although this change is currently optional, in the future we will require that publishers located in eligible countries make this switch. Eligible publishers who haven't yet updated their accounts will currently see an interstitial page with additional information after signing in. We understand that some eligible publishers would like to continue receiving payments in U.S. Dollars; while you can still choose to be paid in U.S. Dollars, it will be mandatory to view your reports in Euros.

If you're eligible to make the switch to Euro reporting, we encourage you to review the updated Terms and Conditions and update your account soon. To get started, sign in to your account and look for the prompt, "See your daily earnings reported in Euro amounts!" on your Reports Overview page. In February, we announced the roll-out of Google’s next generation ad server, DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP). Today, we completed the upgrade of Google Ad Manager publishers to DFP Small Business, a streamlined version of DFP designed to meet the needs of growing publishers, and we made this platform available globally to all publishers. As you may know, publisher ad servers like DFP help website owners better manage and deliver ad campaigns they've sold directly to advertisers as well as ads that are allocated to third parties, such as ad networks. Pada menu advanced >>> Virtual memory >> Change >> Klik pada drive c:Windows >> Pilih Custom Size >> Rubah Value pada initial size dan maximum Size 2 kali lipat dari value sebelumnya misal 256 rubah ke 512 , 512 rubah 1000) atau anda bisa merubah sesuai keinginan anda asal lebih besar dari value sebelumnya, Kemudian klik Ok.

Tweaking dan Modifikasi diatas bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan dan mempercepat proses kerja suatu program atau software. Olah Raga Yoga

Olah raga yoga adalah suatu bentuk olah tubuh yang berasal dari India, olah raga ini menggabungkan antara unsur gerakan tubuh dengan pernafasan, belakangan ini olah raga yoga telah begitu banyak dikenal dan dipraktekkan hampir diseluruh belahan dunia. Meskipun begitu mempraktekkan olah raga ini sering kali menimbulkan kontoversi bagi para pelakunya karena dianggap sebagai salah satu bentuk ritual agama tertentu bahkan olah raga yoga sempat dilarang untuk dipraktekkan oleh warga muslim dinegara Malaysia.

Yoga berasal dari bahasa sangsekerta kuno yang berarti penyatuan dengan alam atau penyatuan dengan sang pencipta, yoga sebagai sebuah seni dan ilmu pengetahuan memiliki pengertian yang sangat luas. Sebagai suatu betuk olah raga, yoga juga memiliki banyak jenis, jenis yoga yang banyak dipraktekkan adalah hata yoga, hata yoga ini menggabungkan unsur gerakan dengan pernafasan.

Melakukan olah raga yoga biasanya juga disertai dengan melakukan meditasi, gerakan-gerakan dalam yoga harus dilakukan dengan sempurna untuk mencapai tahap meditasi ini. Meditasi dalam yoga dilakukan dengan duduk bersila dan diam tidak bergerak selama beberapa waktu.

Mempercepat Browser Mozilla Firefox

Terkadang browser ~~mogila~~ eh mozilla tempat saya internetan serasa lambat dibuka. Iseng-iseng saja mengetikkan kata kunci “cara mempercepat browser mozilla” dan ketemu tips trik dari detikinet.
cara pertama : Ketik ‘about:config’ pada address bar, lalu tekan enter. dan akan muncul seperti dibawah ini

cari tulisan ‘browser.tabs.showSingleWindowsModePrefs‘, lalu double klik sehingga settingannya menjadi ‘true’. Turunkan halaman Firefox sampai menemukan baris berbunyi ‘network.http.pipelining‘, lalu double klik sehingga settingannya juga menjadi ‘true’. Turunkan lagi halaman Firefox dan carilah baris yang berbunyi ‘network.http.pipelining.maxrequests‘, lalu double klik. Akan muncul pop-up seperti dibawah ini

Ubahlah angka menjadi 100
Tutup firefox dan buka kembali. Mozilla Firefox akan terbuka lebih cepat 10-40 persen dari sebelumnya ( menurut detikinet, gak tau gimana mengukur peningkatan persentase kecepatannya).

Cara Kedua :
Gunakan add-on untuk Firefox bernama FasterFox. FasterFox ini membuat pemakaian bandwidth lebih efektif sehingga bisa mempercepat performa Firefox. Download FasterFox di http://fasterfox.mozdev.org.
Kira-kira begitulah. Saya baru mencoba cara yang pertama. Cara kedua belum saya coba.
